Welcome to the Devonshire Neighborhood Association (DNA) Website!

Why Join?

The primary benefit of DNA membership is increased security for the neighborhood. 
The Devonshire Neighborhood Association is a non-profit, volunteer group representing the needs and concerns of the Devonshire community.

Expanded Neighborhood Patrol is a program authorized by the Dallas Police Department in which the Devonshire Neighborhood Association (DNA) hires armed and uniformed off-duty police officers to patrol our neighborhood.  Dallas Police presence in Devonshire not only deters crime but also provides significantly reduced police response times should a crime occur.

To maintain and grow our outstanding Devonshire Patrol program, we ask all our neighbors in Devonshire to do their part by becoming active DNA members.  DNA membership dues and Extra Patrol Dollar contributions directly affect the number of hours the Dallas Police are patrolling our neighborhood.

The majority of our membership dues fund our off-duty Dallas police patrol; so the higher the membership, the more hourly coverage we can afford.

Timely security alerts and news updates of neighborhood happenings
Advance notice of neighborhood special events and fundraisers

Spring Fundraiser
April 1 – May 31

The Spring 2025 Fundraiser is necessary pay for patrol hours that our membership dues do not cover AND to raise the hourly pay for each officer by $5 per hour. The DNA Board approved the increase in pay in order to remain competitive and to retain our outstanding team of officers.

No security donation amount is too big or too small. It takes all of us working together to keep our neighborhood safe!
